Monica Nelson is an elementary school teacher and an eleven-year breast cancer survivor currently living in Charlton, Massachusetts. A former missionary kid, she writes devotionals and praise poetry, as well as gently humorous essays and poems about cancer treatments and their side effects. She also posts frequent anecdotes about Manny and Wyatt, her rescue cats, and Wyn, her twenty-six-year-old daughter.
